Kraken come calling: Jim White, James Lawton and Jonathan Northcroft are contracted to write the 500,000 word, Manchester United Opus. DWM later arranges for Hugh McIlvanney, Patrick Barclay and James Nesbitt to make significant contributions.
Stephen Jones, David Walsh and Brendan Gallagher agree to produce a similar Opus on England rugby (pub. 2007).
Sue Mott, Alan Smith and David Miller sign for Arsenal Opus on closing of Highbury (pub. Spring 2007). Contributions later arranged from Patrick Barclay and Tom Watt.
